To quote Bob Kress from when we were there for The Longest Day in 1993 (driving Walter Simendinger's MR-2 with Steve Colletti, Andy Lally, and Bob Muneo): "Anybody who thinks Bridgehampton is primative has never been to Nelson Ledges!"

Tom was out there, co-driving with Ken Bushel.
It was a really enjoyable event with a few familiar faces.
Even the M3 that rolled was righted and resumed. little contact, only 2 full course yellows and beautiful weather. What more could you want.
for us it was fun to bring a Renault Spec Racer to tech and get an SCCA annual in a logbook with the last entry being 1994. Ran 2 cars and finished with little problem and had a grand old time.
EMRA could sure use a track like Nelson Ledges. Not much to look at but our average speed INCLUDING pit stops was over 70MPH and an actual lap average was around 86MPH...... FAST and FUN.
See y'all at Pocono... Bring friends, it is more fun that way.

Tom,
Were you running SM #83 at Nelson Ledges? If so I was asked to pass this along.
Hey, if you know these guys (ever talk to them really) please pass on my sincere "I am sorry I hit you and spun you out"........
