Registered to run at Circits on the 28th. Hondas don't need brakes, but bringing lots of gas. (must be the spicy food) Can't seem to hear anything about the Mustang , Dana. Seems like you scared him away. :-)

Justin, I hope more people remember that many need to be able to drive their cars home as well.
I've been racing in a very competitive series this year (40+ cars in class per race and 95% of the field covered by less than four seconds) and it has cost me a fender, a bumper, a lower control arm, and a dinged quarter panel so far. However, the sister series did not manage to get through the first lap in the first four races without a multi-car melee, with two of those wrecks coming before turn one!
People forget we're racing for three dollar trophies here.
WB, who probably has a conflict with the LRP race but is looking forward to Summit Point.

I hope so too, Dana. Some of us drive our cars to the track, and, surprisingly, that means we need to drive them home as well.
I thought maybe we were rehearsing for The Fast and Furious 5.

Hey, Fogger .... always ready to learn. Old dogs CAN learn new tricks..... Regarding the FlamingAero - 5 hard competitive days so far this year, no holds barred, maximum punishment, full detailed inspection following each - nary as much as a wheel bearing failure. Had to replace a selector cable - gears were getting hard to find ... no other issues. Looking to get thru Circuits, maybe (just maybe) I'll tow down to Summit........)
This winter - aerodynamics, air flow (can't afford a Caddy Catera).
and Doc - no trophy .... I'm shaping cross bow points out of the Honda lenses......
Revenge? Me? Never. Well, maybe almost never..... (of course not - I need to do a bumper skin - he needs to do a hood, fender, front valance. I think maybe he learned someting about a lack of experience coupled with overly agressive driving ... I hope).

I hear there's this really good Mustang driver in FlaDiDa (who at last report had a Chebby) who could teach you a thing or two...

Sounds like I missed a fun time - the mere thought of the FlamingAero running long enough to even need brakes boggles the mind.
Too bad about the 9/28 date - cannot make it at all. We'll definitely be there for Summit. Not sure about anything else - the web page seems be down for the moment.

Dana you'll need another 2 seconds for the Mustang. He was in the 1:01s. Not sure if this is just a case of testicular fortitude. Justin hope to see you there.

Hey, gang.... Thanks for a super TT day on August 30. With the exception of a "cosmetic mishap" all went well (except I got beat by a damned Mustang.....).
ANYWAY - an invitation to all of the EMRA TT folks - CART is hosting CIRCUITS MAXIMUS II on Monday, September 28. Yeah, I know it's a Monday but that's what we have this year. This is the TT event of the season. THREE circuits running ALL DAY - North, East, South. Trials on North and East, Tag Team Challenge on North. All courses will be open all day except for lunch and timer set-up (if needed). Bring LOTS of fuel (and brake pads).
$275 for the entire day - all 3 tracks, 2 time trials, 1 challenge. I know Chris Gomes and a few others are coming, hoping Justin will show with the E30. Join us! We want to form an EMRA team for the Challenge (so what if I'm an officer of CART - I'm still a member of South Shore and EMRA!).
Register at cartct.com or email me at dana.robbins@att.net.
Dana.
