Easiest way not to be lapped by and ESR is to rent one.

looking forward to seeing you at Summit, Fred

BTW, who is # 36... I hate forums, everyone seems to know everyone except for me.

36, hopefully we will run combined B and S Bore. I'll be there with ya as ST6. Best fun we can have is try not being lapped by ESR's but if they get us, They give Great tows down the main Straight.

Looking forward to being on Track with you again. Last time we were on Track togeather you "pushed me off and made me "Driver"--get out of your car"
Made me cry and get my New suit dirty.
THANKS EMRA, Great People Great Racing

Wow! people who know how to read the rules! Yes #36car you are in ST6 base. Sounds like you might take 1 class bump on the suspension but maybe not. If the original strut bearing is there, you are still ST6, unless the mounting point on the chassis has been modified/moved. Threaded spring perch on the strut tube is legal in base class. Enter as 6 and I will confirm (or reclass)you at tech.

I think you're right, Number36Car. We'll have to await final confirmation from Bill, but your car sounds very ST6 to me too.

See you on Friday.

Sorry. It's a 1988 Ford Escort GT 1.9L EFI H.O. about 108 HP stock. bored 0.30 - over. Stock head, intake, exhaust header (open with enough muffle thereafter), stock brakes, Ground Control suspension, gutted interior with stock dash & heater pieces. SCCA and NASA legal cage, safety equipment, etc. Competes in SCCA ITB Solo 1 Hill climbs and NASA PTF.

Looks like base class is ST-6

BTW, I do not wish to race for points. If someone has been competing all season long and still looking to gain some points, I don't want to get in the way of whatever points competitions may be occuring. I just want to race for fun with you all.

My race school and 1st rookie race with you was at NJMP last November. I am wanting to build on that toward full comp license.

Yes, ST6 (and ST7) are still active classes. We have some very fast drivers who still TT in both.

I would second Dave's suggestion though. Post up the details on your car or send them to our Competition Board Director, Bill G (racerwag@gmail.com).

Why don't you make a post with the info of what your car make/model is---I'm sure your question could be answered. As far as I know ITB translates into EMRA's ST-5 for most models.

In reading the ST class rules EMRA recognizes "all SCCA classes". Also, my car would base class in ST-6.

Is ST-6 still used, because the anouncement about the Lime Rock race lists only down to ST-5. Or, on the other hand, should I just leave the class at SCCA's ITB and enter that way??
