So in response to popular demand:
We spent this year running with the SCCA at Summit Point in West By God Virginia. It's the same white 1990 Miata with 250,000 miles on it that we rolled at LRP in '07 (props to Radiance Auto Body in Deer Park for making it purty again). We ran the family racecar in the SSM (Showroom Spec Miata) class.
Anyway, we finally figured out A: how to get the video camera working; B: how to get the video editing software working; and C: the limitations of You Tube that require breaking a single race into four sub ten minute sections. The links below are to the Labor Day race we attended. I started 31st in a 39 car field and finished 19th. My best finish this year was 15th in a 43 car field in which I started 21st, but this damned software means it will be another four hours before I can get that sucker posted, and I just don't have the patience for that.
