We have a Reference 680 TP.
We have a manual for what it is worth for the Van side, and all the other books for the fitted equipment.
Please let me know if you need a scan as can be arranged.
Wehen we bought the Van from out local dealer the starting battery was flat and would not hold a charge so the dealer changed it for us.
As far as Gas change over that had us foxed for a while too but its not in the book :)
Anyone had problems with fumes from the fridge when running on gas?
Thanks for the help in anticipation.

Hi Does anyone out there have a user manual for the R640?

We have just bought one 2nd hand and we are struggling to get to grips with all it's functions. And we would really appreciate if we could get a copy from somewhere

Thanks

I tried to start my 6 months old Pilote P670TP on Boxing day only to find the battery was flat ,that is the starting battery not the liesure one which was fine. Nothing had been left switched on and the van had only been standind for about3 weeks. I connected to the mains via the hookup lead and after a couple of hours the van started. The problem is now no matter how long leave the van hooked up the battery never shows as being fully charged. However using a separate charger connected directly to the battery a full charge can be achieved. On this model the Truma combi heater can be used when the van is on the move and is fitted with a special gas shut off valve in the event of an accident. Therefore am I correct in thinking that the heating system works from the engine battery and not the liesure battery in the back. Waiting for the dealer to open up after the long Chrismas break is not an option as I leave for Spain on the 3rd January. Any ideas ???

Pilote Reference P670 TP

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have just taken delivery of this model bought from a dealer . There was no handbbok/manual for the motorhome part of van and only a handbook for the Fiat base vehicle wich is in French . The dealer has "ordered" a handbook in English but says Pilote do not supply manuals for their motorhomes !!! Is he correct? I find this hard to believe when I have no idea how the gas auto change over works or where the fuses are never mind how to work the gas water/space heating system. There must be safety issues here ? any comments very welcome. Dave
