Whining little girls, go home, good riddance and find some form before you come back next time. Nothing more pathetic than countries that want to dominate the sport but only on their terms. The Indian team managaement are hypocrites.
So go home, stay home & grow up
Managing Use of Wangaratta to Omeo Highway

I am writing to express my concern regarding the closure of the highway between Wangaratta and Omeo to vehicles without snow chains on a recent weekend where the roads were dry and the weather forecast for the weekend and the following several days was fine and sunny with temperatures in the mid to high twenties. Because of the snow chain restriction my wife and myself as well as another couple had to change our holiday plans for the weekend and toured the Illawarra Region of NSW instead of touring via the highway between Wangaratta and Omeo and onwards into the East Gippsland area. The money for accommodation, food and various boat tours was spent in the Illawarra Region rather than East Gippsland. This should be of some concern to your organisation. The Victorian Government is responsible for safely managing the use of the roads in the Alpine Regions of Victoria. Instead of managing the route via Mount Hotham they have imposed blanket bans on the use of the highway regardless of road conditions and forecast weather conditions between preset dates. I would strongly suggest that this is not managing the use of the roads at all. If it were managed properly the road could be made available to normal road traffic without snow chains at the discretion of local rangers who patrol the area. I would suggest that the status of the road could be posted on either the Mount Hotham or another appropriate website so that travellers could check the conditions and road status prior to leaving home. This is done in NSW by the RTA for the Snowy Mountains Highway as well as other alpine roads in NSW. Do you have any suggestions as to how I could progress this concern further in the interests of Victorian tourism and properly managed road use? For your consideration.
