Try JW Tumbles in Park Ridge (on Kinderkamack). It's fabulous.

Since he loves books ... take him to the Barns and Noble story time... They love to read the books and play with the train... best of all it's FREE!!!!!! call your local store to get times and dates. if no story time at that time just go there and read the books. I use to do it all the time with my daughters. they still love going to Barns and Noble...

Did you look into TumbleBee gymnastics in Emerson? It is perfect for that age! It will only give them something to do for an hour, but it will break up the day for them. We also did musical munchkins at that age. Thats a fun music class they could do together and they are up and moving.

I'm looking to find some kind of activity that is age-appropriate for a 2 year old boy to do with is grandfather. Once a week my dad takes my son for the day and there are only so many trips to the zoo and park they can make. My son is into music, animals annd loves books but, like any two year old, isn't intersted in sitting still for too long. Any suggestions?
