No idea on CTG. I was trying to ensure that if someone read the entry they could tell when I had written it.
Personally, I don't think it will ever be anything other than 32K.

With the release of CICS TS 3.1 with its channels/containers feature and the just released CICS Service Flow Feature there appears to be a little confusion over what is channel/container supported and what is 32k commarea supported.

First fact - as of today 01//03/2006, the CICS Transaction Gateway (ECI) implemenation is 32K commarea ONLY. Message exchange between CICS and the JCA through CTG is limited to 32K.

Second fact - as of today the Service Flow Feature is 32K Commarea ONLY.
