I find no Markham Price or any of his wives buried in Union County. What I did find in my Civil War veterans research was that their was a Marcus F. Price, listed as a member of the Samuel Stooksbury Post #73, Grand Army of the Republic, that was located at Loy's Cross Roads in the mid 1880's. The post records have him listed as a Private in Company "K", 3rd Tennessee Infantry in the Union Army. The Tennessee state roster has him listed as a Private in Company "H", 4th Tennessee Infantry in the Union Army. This Marcus F. Price is buried in the Knoxville National Cemetery located in Knoxville. There are quite a few Civil War veterans from Union County buried in that cemetery. Most of the headstones for veterans of the Civil War have no dates inscribed on them.

He married (1) Sarah Hulgan 2/2/1845 in Knox County, TN, (2) Mary Northern 3/25/1860 Jefferson County, TN, (3) Matilda Streavels 4/7/1872 in Union County, TN, and (4) Sarah Hutchison 10/11/1876 in Union County, TN. Sarah Hutchison Price was born May 1835 in TN and died after 1900 in Union County, TN.
