Hello,

I am trying to prove the connection from Conrad's grandson Frederick Keck to Conrad's son Andrew Keck (Father of Frederick). I need the connection proven for my application to DAR.

Does anyone have any documentation that would prove that Frederick is a son of Andrew and grandson of Conrad? I have the 1850 census that shows Andrew and his wife Isabelle with Frederick listed. However, as the 1850 census doesn't state relationships it doesn't prove the connection and Frederick is living on his own by the 1860 census.

I would appreciate any help that can be provided!

On November 3rd, 2007 at 10 a.m. the General Joseph Martin Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution will conduct a ceremony at the Irwin Cemetery dedicating a monument and honoring the service of the American Revolutionary War veteran, Conrad Keck who was the fore-father of most local area Keck’s. This will be a public ceremony and everyone is invited; please come and join us as we honor one of the men who helped to give us this great nation and the freedoms we have. Directions are: From the Highway 33 turn-off to Sharps Chapel, go about 5 miles and turn left onto Old Valley Road at the sign to Norris Shores. From there, it’s about 1 mile to the cemetery.
