On November 3rd, 2007 at 10 a.m. the General Joseph Martin Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution will conduct a ceremony at the Irwin Cemetery dedicating a monument and honoring the service of the American Revolutionary War veteran, Conrad Keck who was the fore-father of most local area Keck’s. This will be a public ceremony and everyone is invited; please come and join us as we honor one of the men who helped to give us this great nation and the freedoms we have. Directions are: From the Highway 33 turn-off to Sharps Chapel, go about 5 miles and turn left onto Old Valley Road at the sign to Norris Shores. From there, it’s about 1 mile to the cemetery. For more information, call (423) 626-3836; or, (423) 626-2287. Or, Email either daystar@communicomm.com or aecsroged@hotmail.com
