When you set up a log file to monitor, you must select your EverQuest log file (logging MUST be turned on to use AdminEQ). When in-game, activate logging before using AdminEQ. Your log file should be something like:

C:\Program Files\EverQuest\eqlog_PlayerName_30.txt

Is TVichW32.DLL in the same directory as the program? I've gotten some complaints about this and they were mostly all resolved by simply moving TVichW32.DLL into the same folder as AdminEQ.

If you got a Path/File access error, this means you specified an invalid file for AdminEQ to monitor. Please make sure the path to the EverQuest log file is correct.

As stated before, AdminEQ is NOT tested on WinXP so yes, there will be problems. However, I may have fixed a couple of them in the latest release of AdminEQ - v0.9 - which is available from the Downloads section of this site.

Hello,
I keep getting these errors:

Couldn't initialize keyboard control!
Macros will not be available
You may need to restart your computer

Also when I try to enable the monitor I get this:

Run-time error 75

Path/File access error

I did try restarting my computer but no luck.

If you could help me out I would appreciate it.

I am running:
Windows xp
I did do the update for xp that you suggested in setup.

Thanks,
Zephr
