I checked the current version of BazaarMate on my machine against the website, and while they appear to match, my version is using the sndPlaySound() API and not Windows Media Player. I have repacked and uploaded the file. Please try this version and see if you still get the errors. I cannot verify that it will fix the other issue as I will need a Bazaar log.

Sorry I haven't checked this board in a while. I emailed you at eqhalf->yahoo.com in reference to this. If that is not your real email address, please post back or send an email to my spam address: j.ski->online.ie
I trust you realize to replace "->" with "@" ;)

Here's what error messages I get:
When loading:
Couldn't find Windows Media Player control
Audio Playback will not be available!
This is not the last problem.
Unfortunately, when trying to compute totals another error message appears:
Run time error '6'
Overflow
After pressing OK Bazaar-mate closes...:(
This is on a couple of hundred sold items.
Thank you for the work you've put into Bazaar Mate and may it work fully again.

Nope, I no longer have EverQuest installed on my machine so I cannot update BazaarMate. However, if you give me the exact error message you're receiving, I will look into fixing it.

Has this been updated. I downloaded and ran it. It loads up (after the fixes thanks) and it comes up with and audio error, but then continues to run.

Ok, my error message says that "Component 'MSHFLXGD.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid" if it helps, I'm running XP Pro, SP2 and it says I have version 1.2.0.5 of BAzaarMate

Simply restart the application and right-click the grid, then choose "Select new log file" from the popup menu. Restart the app again and it will work fine.

Sorry about that. The link I gave in my previous post is a very outdated version of the common control. Here's an up-to-date version:

I get the following message after following the suggestions above:
Failed to load control 'CommonDialog' from COMDLG32.OCX. Your version of COMDLG32.OCX may be outdated.
My version is dated July 19th, 1997.
Ideas?

I'm the author of BazaarMate. COMDLG32.OCX is the Microsoft Common Dialog control. A quick search on Google found it for download here:
http://freeware.it-mate.co.uk/downloads/controls/comdlg32.zip
Extract all files to the C:\Windows\System folder (or similar for your operating system). From the Start Menu, select "Run..." and type in the following:
regsvr32 c:\windows\system\comdlg32.ocx
If you get a message that it failed, replace "c:\windows\system" with the folder you extracted comdlg32.ocx to. If it still fails, move comdlg32.ocx to the folder that BazaarMate.exe is in. This should work, but only as a last resort.

Anyone have a quickfix, tip or info when running BazaarMate.exe?
This is the error I'm getting:
Component 'COMDLG32.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid.
Have searched this site and EQ-Toolbox site for info but can find nothing at all so far.
Any info appreciated
