We have ins. with a local company. Do we still have to have the Ace Insurance..

The fastpitchsoftball reference will take you back to the registerasa site. You don't need it. Select "members login". If you are a new team, go to bottom and select - "become a member". Then, go to the bottom of the page that comes up and click on "sign me up now". You can now enter the necessary information. If your league has already established an account, your league administrator should have set up instructions on how you are going to add players and teams. The password reference is incorrect. Do not enter that password - a password will be e-mailed to you when you set up your account. The shipping charge of $1.50 has changed. It is now a minimum of $1.00 depending on the weight of materials. The $26 per team is no longer applied if you are registering individually. The championship roster form is still needed for leagues and tournaments since it is a waiver of liability form also. ACE certification can be done two ways: on the registerasa site or through ASAUSA. It may be a better deal through registerasa since coaches get insurance, id card, background check and certification.

Can we get some better instructions on how to fill out team registration for insurance purposes. I have followed the instructions on the site but the link doesn't take you anywhere. Do we need to create a user name and password before we register a team?

Coaches,
Remember those of you who are coaching ASA in Montana this year must register you team individually for insurance.When you do, send your invoice and money to JIM PELLIGRINI in Helena. This will be noted by him, also, the monies you send to him will cover the $26.00 we normally give to the district commissionjer to register your team. You must also fill out the Championship roster which should mimic your insurance roster.
Again every head coach must take the ACE Certification test and as I suggested before it would be nice to see all coaches take the test.
At the time you take the test, they will also do a background check. If you are the head coach it is mandatory for you if you intend to coach in any tournament leading to national championship play including the Montana State tourney, regional/national qualifiers and regional tournaments.
Get it done before you begin tournament or league play!
