	You are correct, the phrase will be returned on most error pages. Using as the verification phrase works to ensure that the server is up, but it doesn't necessarily mean that the page is displaying what you're expecting it to. We recommend changing the verification phrase to something that is unique to the web page you are checking, so if an error occurs (for example, if the file is renamed accidentally, or if any dynamic content isn't working correctly), the Pliner.Net Monitor will detect it and notify you.

	btw - does this mean that I should not be using the verficication phrase of because most error pages will have this?

	The web page at http://www.dumbTV.com loads fine, and contains the verification phrase that you had specified. The content of the dumbTV site is being served in a frameset; those frames are being requested from the server http://dumbtv.hopto.org/dtv/. You will need to point the monitor to http://dumbtv.hopto.org/dtv/ to check those web pages.

	Hi Try go to www.dumbTV.com and it is down, yet my monitor says it is up - can someone please explain this? (it's been down for the last 4 hours, and will be until I can get home to reboot it) Thanks Rod
